The Letter Control tab under Tax Admin is where the automation of letter sending is set.
This needs to be done after the IRD Client List and XPM connections have been made but before activating the XPM link.

To set the letter controls;
- Navigate to Tax Admin ➡️ Letter Control
- Preset actions are loaded into the system and can be changed by clicking the arrows on the right hand side of the action box. This will show a list of available actions;
- Once a new action has been selected, the system will automatically save it
- The Client, Manager, Manager & Client actions will send the letters directly to those contacts and then automatically archive them under the Archived tab. This is where the Archive History can be viewed;
Please note: only practice users with Administrator permissions can change the Letter Control functions. Other practice users will be able to view only.
