Once you have activated your Plugin account, you will be asked to;
- Add your IRD Authorities
- Add your IRD Client List
- Link to the IRD via MyIR to verify the connection
IRD Authorities
If the practice has a number of IRD Client Lists with different IRD authorities, they are added here by clicking on ➕ Add Authority
- Each Authority will be redirected to the IRD to approve the connection then sent back to the App
- Add the IRD Client List you want to link;
- We will match the Authority to the Client List and notify the App user when done
- If a Client List doesn't match a login, an error will be shown until a matching login is added
How do I find my IRD Client List?
- Log into XPM
- Go to Business → Settings → Client Settings → Tax Agent
- Click on the practice name (in blue)
- Scroll down to Agent connection information;
What if I enter an IRD Client List incorrectly?
You will be able to remove an incorrectly added client by clicking the ‘remove’ tab;
Please note that you can only 'Remove' before you connect to the IRD. Once connection has been established, please contact us on support@pluginaccountant.com to disconnect.
How long until the letters arrive on the App/IRD linking is complete?
This takes on average 30 minutes per 1000 clients. A completed notification pop-up will show on the screen and the App user will be notified via an email from no-reply@pluginaccountant.com.
What happens if I leave or close the page during linking?
The IRD connection will continue as normal - on reopening the page, you will be able to see if the connection is still in progress or has been completed.
How often do the letters update?
The letters update every working day.
